How do I get to Afton?

Afton is located west of Butler in an area known as Meridian.

  for driving directions.

(From the North: traveling South on Route 8)
  1. Turn right on to Benbrook Road at the Pioneer Drive-In.
  2. Travel approximately 5 miles to the stop light at the intersection with Route 68 (Agway and Sheets will be on opposite corners.)
  3. Go straight through the intersection as the road becomes Meridian Road.
  4. Travel approximately 2 miles and turn right into Afton

(From the South: traveling North on Route 8)
  1. Turn left on to McCalmont Road at the stop light (Kelly Chevrolet will be on the left corner)
  2. Follow McCalmont across the railroad tracks and to the next stop sign (approximately 2 miles)
  3. Turn right on to Meridian Road and travel just under a mile to Afton on the left

(From the West: traveling East on Route 68)
  1. Turn right on to Meridian Road at the stop light (Agway and Sheetz will be on opposite corners)
  2. Travel approximately 2 miles and turn right into Afton

(From the East: traveling West on Route 68)
  1. Follow signs for Route 68 West through the downtown Butler area and up the hill past the stop light at the Butler Area Senior High School
  2. At the next stop light (Rita's Italian Ice will be at the intersection) veer to the left following Route 68 West towards Evans City
  3. Three stop lights further, turn left on to Meridian Road (Agway and Sheetz on opposite corners)
  4. Travel approximately 2 miles to Afton on the right
